Buying costs in Spain

The costs added on top of the purchase price of a home in Spain, in tables: each component with its rate and its source.

Amounts in euros (EUR).

Sources checked 4 November 2026. Rates are 2026 rates unless a row says otherwise; do not carry a 2026 rate into 2027 without re-checking.

ITP and AJD are set per autonomous community. This page covers the communities with site cities — Madrid, Catalonia (Barcelona), Valencian Community (Valencia, Alicante), Andalusia (Sevilla); other communities differ.
